    bees entering home through opening in a wall for AC   
    It sounds like the bees moved into a stud-bay that has a
    "mini-split" heat-pump unit on the inside. 
    I doubt the bees. moved into the heat-pump unit itself. But... who
    knows.
    
    The bees have been in the wall for at least a month. 
    
     Obviously the installers of the hvac unit weren't savvy about
    sealing up penetrations.  Alas
