Caller says the tree has a colony of bees about 15 ft up in Elm tree that has been there for about 3 months. Bees come into her bedroom primarily at night and bothering her on the deck in the day and she would like to see if there is a way to remove them. From her ID of dead insects they are bees and not wasps.
I talked with her at length about the difficulty of removing established colonies and diversions, and screening her bedroom, etc, but she feels strongly that they should be removed if possible.
