swarm-list Mailing List: Oakland Extraction Near the Zoo

[Gabriel Harber (harberphoto]

Just got a call from a guy, Cruz  510-604-2596 at 10035 Voltaire Ave, Oakland.

Said he is on a fixed income and things are really tight for him.

He is allergic to bees and a colony has moved into his shed.

Said someone from the ACBA came out a few days ago and said they would remove the bees but never followed up.  He has been waiting for this member to get back to him, but has heard nothing, and his calls have gone unanswered.

Sounds like Cruz is getting ready to kill the bees.  Said he needs to get to stuff in the shed.

I asked him to give us a day to try to figure something out for him.

If you are able, please reach out to him.  I do not think he has money to pay for an extraction, so might be a charity job.

Thanks,

Gabriel
