Caller says there are bees entering a tree between the children's playground and Moraga Avenue. She sees them about 6' up in a large conifer about 50 yards south of the rec center. No visible cluster. We talked about bee trees, and the importance of leaving them alone but she is concerned that park employees may decide to exterminate them.
If anyone who lives nearby would like to go check it out, feel free. And interact with park employees if that seems useful. If you can't find them, you can call Audrey at 707-367-3289. She's at the park now and seems to live nearby.
