The bees have been there for at least a year. I noticed them some time back, but they weren't bothering anyone and no one seemed to notice them.
Best Regards,
Sean

I’ll be home in about an hour and can go over to check it out if it’s still light out by the time I’m ready to go.

Caller says there are bees entering a tree between the children's playground and Moraga Avenue. She sees them about 6' up in a large conifer about 50 yards south of the rec center. No visible cluster. We talked about bee trees, and the importance of leaving them alone but she is concerned that park employees may decide to exterminate them.If anyone who lives nearby would like to go check it out, feel free. And interact with park employees if that seems useful. If you can't find them, you can call Audrey at 707-367-3289. She's at the park now and seems to live nearby.
