The bees are entering the cover of one of those small concrete vaults for the city's recycled water system. The caller says she's seen them there when she walks her dog, and they're getting more active.

So this might be a colony from last year, or it might be scouts from this spring.

I'm posting this to be claimed by someone.
It's not on private property.
It might be full of comb if they're last year's bees.

They're not going anywhere.
Claim it if you want to check it out and are up for doing a cutout.
If they're last year's bees this will take hours, and you'll need a bee vac, and probably a generator to power it with.

I assume the professionals won't be very interested because I don't expect it'll be a paying gig.
