Brian called to report a swarm in his neighbor's tree, noted yesterday afternoon. He has a hive which likely swarmed about 9 days ago. This is probably an after swarm from his hive. They are about 10' up in a fig tree. The neighbor is aware and ok with her collection. In the picture with the cones he said that they are about 7 ft up from the cone on the right. You can't see the bees in that image, but they look like a pretty bunch in the second photo.

Who would like to leave now to collect the swarm and return after dark to ensure no bee left behind?

If you collected a swarm in the last 24 hours, please hold off 5 minutes before making a claim.

Safety first! No swarm is worth risking injury to self, or host.
