swarm-list Mailing List: SWARM! High Flyers in Oakland, Moraga and Estates Dr.

[Paula Breen (paulaellen70]

Ari called to report a swarm that arrived in his conifer out front. These bees are up there! Something of a bucket truck situation. He's not good at estimating height but they're clearly over 20 feet. Good looking swarm though if somebody has the motivation to try to get them down. If you're in the neighborhood get your swarm traps  baited.

Who would like to leave now to collect the swarm and return after dark to ensure no bee left behind?

If you collected a swarm in the last 24 hours, please hold off 5 minutes before making a claim.

Safety first! No swarm is worth risking injury to self, or host.
