I did stop by.
I was able to get a large majority of the bees into a box.
The eve is probably 15 feet off the ground and there isn't a lot of room to back up a ladder. So I didn't have a safe way to go after every last bee. That high and on a fixed object was interesting. Bucket on a pole with one hand and a broom in the other. The ones not in the box were pretty persistant about going up to the roof so it isn't super surpising that I didn't get the queen.
If someone else would like to give it a go. Have at it. I will go back tonight for my box. I'm open to feedback if anyone has some.

Hi Everyone,
I got some intel from the property owner that the bees have gone back to the roof. The owner of the house says it appears that the swarm box is empty. She doesn't have the contact information for the beekeeper who came by and asked that I post here on this thread. Stephen, I think it might have been you, but I'm not sure. I also don't have your contact info, otherwise, I would contact you directly. I would offer to come help, but I am out of town today. It seems plausible that maybe whoever caught the swarm thought they got the queen in the box, but maybe didn't after all.
With Care,
Brooke
