204 Heritage Lane    Pleasanton
a    bee tree needs to be removed    Must come down. Need bee colony rescue.
The entrance is about 12 feet off the ground
At the base the trunk is 10 or 12 feet in diameter.
No telling how big the hollow is in the middle, or the vertical extent of  the colony

Perhaps coordinate with a tree-removal company to save the trunk section,
and convince them to NOT just drop the tree like lumberjacks do.

Maybe loan veils to the tree crew.

I don't know how much money is available for beekeeper activities.
There could be tens of gallons of honey in the trunk.
Bees have been using the entrance for upwards of 50 years.

Nick has some experience with tree cutting.
we talked for half an hour, so he has some more ideas about how to approach the problems.
