Hi Pam (and all) -- I agree with Gina that I don't think this is safe. Our swarm catching guideline pages recommend:Safety FIRST. Avoid ladders. Avoid power lines. Avoid dangerous traffic. This one seems far outside the bounds of what we would ever want anyone to do (and I know it's far outside the bounds of our club insurance!). So let's everyone give this one a miss, count it as an arboreal nest, and leave those bees where they are. (If they absolutely need moving for some reason, the property owner should work with traffic authorities to remove it.) Thanks!
