Re: Who is still beeless? and why?

I'm on the lookout for a swarm to put in a top bar hive that swarmed and then
failed to replace their queen.

I put in one very small swarm already that Becky passed along to me, but I
never saw the queen in it, and they've gone laying worker. I'll be shaking
those bees out before I put the swarm in. (Leaving them in for now to try to
fend off the wax moths).

I'm in North Berkeley. I'm often busy with bees, and always seem to see the
postings for swarms out this way just a little too late!

Appreciate any kind soul who can grab one for me or give me a heads up so I can
get it! Oakland and parts north preferred!

Thanks!
