Call Mark 510 468 7459 The bees moved in about a month ago, and didn't move back out. So they probably built a few planes of comb hanging down from the head. The usual cautions apply.• You can't tip the bbl on its side and roll it, so be prepared perhaps with a dolly
(strap the bbl to the dolly) • The bbl may have water in the bottom of it.Drill a hole at the bottom of one of the staves above the head, and let the water drain out before moving it. • It's gonna take a crew to lift it into the back of a pickup. 2 to 4 people.
• Staple some screen across the entrance so the bees can have air. • DON'T set it in the sun unless you provide shade for it. This is a fun project for even a relatively new beekeeper.email me if you feel you need more info about how to get to the colony. There are at least two ways.
