Louise 925 895 8844 on Railroad Avenue in Pleasantonhas an oooold tree with a hollow branch that overhangs the yard, and possibly the house and street.
The hollow limb has a bee colony in it.What's needed is a tree-service that can work with a beekeeper to gently bring down the section
of the branch with the colony in it, without letting it fall to the ground. The beekeeper may need to loan veils to the workmen, and advise on what to expect from the bees. Also do the cut out on the spot or haul away the section with the bee colony in it.
She hasn't sent me pictures yet, but promised to this afternoon.Do you know a cooperative tree company or trimmer? probably with a truck with a cherry picker.
