Re: Extraction panic in alameda. Sweet smelling viscous substance in the carpet in the bedroom

I went by checked the ceiling and floors for a thermo read and they were all negative. I went into two attics and inspected the length of them and found no comb, evidence of bees and no honey.
The substance on the carpet appears to be the viscosity of honey but I can’t determine by smell because cleaner was applied to it.
The exterior of the home shows no sign of bee activity new or old.
The family is dealing with an end of life care and home situation and there is a lot of clutter, as can happen. I suspect something was spilled without notice.

I’m told allergy is an issue & someone just returned home from critical care
And a puddle of honey on the floor.
Sue is panicked.
She called the hotline after 11pm!

The sagging ceiling doesn’t quite line up with the substance on the carpet.

Sorry the information quality isn’t very good.
