Yikes!! From Fremont to Pittsdburg is a long drive.  
If it were me I would only want to make one trip, so I would take a Bee-Vac with me. 
I would get most of the bees and the queen into the box. 
I would smoke that tree branch to encourage the rest of the bees to move. 
I would put screen across the entrance of the bee box so the colony was confined.
Then I would vacuum up stragglers for 45 minutes or until fewer than one bee per 5 minutes was returning. 
Then I would go home. 
i.e.  one trip, and not have to leave the box until evening. 

If you Really need those bees, you can have the call.
