If it’s a location with lots of Africanized bees then it’s like SoCal where club charges to remove swarm because even swarms are really mean.   Backyard beeks in San Diego cannot simply reQueen hive, they must buy Queens as the genetics are predominantly Africanized bees.   Because of that, beware of buying packages from Texas or Florida, especially since we have so many options readily available to us in NorCal.

Didn't complain about being chased by bees.  So I don't know exactly what's going on in Bonita Springs these days

I did this to find a beekeeper is Charleston South Carolina when my cousin had a cold. I found a beekeeper, called her, asked about her operation, paid for honey electronically and then gave my cousins husband the phone number and address and he went over and picked up the honey.
