| If it’s a location with lots of Africanized bees then it’s like SoCal where club charges to remove swarm because even swarms are really mean. Backyard beeks in San Diego cannot simply reQueen hive, they must buy Queens as the genetics are predominantly Africanized bees. Because of that, beware of buying packages from Texas or Florida, especially since we have so many options readily available to us in NorCal.
