The  plot thickens. There is another large swarm about 50 feet from the previous photo. One of the other swarm list volunteers astutely pointed out that there is a hose on the ground in the foreground of the first photo. Turns out the bees on the equipment got sprayed with the hose but the large swarm appears untouched and I'm telling them to leave it alone.
