The swarm-hotline volunteers answer and filter the calls to 510 898-6696.
With swarms,
they are posted;
the first claim is acknowledged (2 emails to the swarm list);
the contact info goes directly to the person who made the claim
The person making the claim promptly phones the caller to give 'em an ETA, and gets on the road within 15 to 30 min. etc., etc.
With Extractions/cut-outs
- the hotline volunteer posts the Contact Information to the Swarm Email Group, and that's it. The hotline volunteers are now out of the loop.
- Service providers contact the party listed in the posting. They may have additional questions about the job. Postings can be incomplete.
- Extractions are NOT claimed. Don't consider a reply post that says "i've got this" or "i've made an arrangement" to carry any meaning or restriction at all.
Definitely not a deterrent to making your own proposal.
- The ACBA doesn't endorse any service provider, nor do we have any control over them, nor does ACBA receive any income from them. ACBA is a 501c(3) - a non-profit, not an employer or boss.
It's a marketplace. It's due diligence of the customer to consider more than one proposal, if they get one.
The customer can ignore all our members, and find a service provider by doing their own search.
If you haven't read the swarm catching guidelines on the website before, do have a look. Questions, and quibbles welcome. We'll make it better.
