Last year one of our Zoom speakers said bumblebees can adapt to having their entrance extended with pipe in the ground (and probably some elbows.
1 inch pvc might be OK.   I haven't done it, but worth a try.

In order to successfully move a bumblebee nest it has to be extracted in tact, and they're fragile.  Like doing an archeological or forensic dig, or maybe harder. It's easy if the nest is built inside a birdhouse or some other structure that doesn't require digging.  The object just goes on vacation

Who can help this family relocate the hive? Brian said they are in-between gaps 
of tall grasses and you can access with shovel and take home hive with grasses. 
 Vector control has identified them as bumblebees.
