Helllo , i sent to both site with Vector control , one is slightly off the path in a tree trunk about 36” diameter , off the path , present no danger , wood  is very hard , onlt way to remove the bee is either by euthanasia which will only be a temporary solutionor cutting down the tree  , presented the alternative to use it as a teaching tool .
Second site is a 10 feet log located at the bottom of a 20- 30 degrees slope , with multiples entries , only hazard is to people cutting the grass , it maybe possible to image3.jpegimage4.jpegimage5.jpegimage6.jpegimage1.jpegimage2.jpegremove during the cold season .

If bees can’t be removed or redirected with entrance high up they will be exterminated. Can anyone look at these as a public service? City of Oakland is unlikely to pay.
