Hi Elinor,
I just saw this post. I don’t think it’s from one of my hives.  Usually my swarms stay pretty local–like in my backyard, but I make no guarantees about that.  Usually, I hear directly from neighbors, and usually I hear them swarming when they do.  Interesting!  They may have swarmed when I was at the morning Randy Oliver session.  It sounds like the right timing.  I was thinking about do a split on one of my hives.  Maybe they beat me to it.
