Caller saw them fly in and settle. The top of the pergola is 8 feet. So he estimates the cluster is about 17 feet up. You can see it is in the middle of the photo of the trees just a little ways down from the top. Maybe 3 feet from the top.

If anyone would like to try to collect them or set up a bait hive in his yard, let me know.
