The swarm was hanging from a metal disk and valve controls. I places a box underneath within 4" on its bottom and with my gloved hands dislodged and pulled the mass into my box. Brushed returnees into the box for about 15 minutes, Stopped when only a handful returned to the metal. Noted lots of fanning.

Will return at 8:00 and report back. The site was a massive gasoline and giant oil tank storage alongside the Richmond harbor with heavy security; was allowed in and trailed by a guard. 

Not a stick of vegetation. What the hell were the bees doing there; who knows.
