I checked this out and it was in fact very cute! ...even though they were yellow jackets.

The caller will reach out to pest control companies, but was curious if anyone anywhere rescues and relocates then. I've never come across that service but said I would ask around. They're not hurting anyone, but the construction crew wants them gone.

I'd be willing to check it out. I've not done this sort of thing before, but it sounds like it might be manageable and not involve taking any structures apart. If this is an extraction, are they expecting there will be a fee?

Are they sure they have honey bees? Any photos? I'm in Oakland and it would be a bummer to go all the way there for yellow jackets.

If I do go and it's beyond me, at least I can send some photos and more info.
