About 500 bees were left. I was able to pick them up and look through them - miraculously the queen was among the survivors. She seemed feisty and in good spirits. I placed her in my swarm catcher on some old black comb and she worked her way down fast. Brushed a palm full off the wall into the box and closed it up. The rest on the wall walked their way in. If I feed them they might make it. Several thousand dead and stomped on bees in the mud. I did what I could and he knows now to call the hot line in the future. He did mention he tried to kill them because he was worried there would be a cost associated with it
