I talked to the homeowner. Suggested spraying the chimney with water to make the bees uncomfortable.

I suggested spraying some imitation almond in the hearth and blowing it up the chimney with a fan.
If that doesn't drive them out, and the swarm decides to take over the chimney, it's an extraction.
