Hi Gina,I went to a home where bees were clinging around a breaker panel on the garage. The bees march through the gap behind the panel, and into the hole in the wall the electrician made to install the panel. He didn't seal it up like he should have.
With additional boxes and panels for solar systems, the same problem is likely.
The bees very well may be in the wall behind the panel.If there's a box on the outside, and another box on the inside wall in the same place, it could be tricky, especially if there's "blocking" between the studs around where the panel is installed.
