Pleasant surprise...
I spent an hour talking with a family about bees while the bees took their sweet time entering the box. It was a great social and educational time. When I was ready to leave I asked if they'd like to donate to the club. The parents said absolutely they will donate online.  The second grader ran into the house and came out with $1 which she happily gave to me. What a joy.
