There are Scouts, I think, snooping around eave vents on second
story roof
I suggested she observe the situation from an hour before sunset to twilight.
If the bees leave, they're just scouts, and some bee repellent would be a good investment (benzldahyde) (vinegar)
If the bees settle in for the night, it's a colony, and the caller will probably want them extracted.
She didn't seem to have the time to even do that basic triage because of care-giving obligations.
Before talking to me, She called someone who specializes in cut-outs, who IMMEDIATELY quoted over $2,000 to "get them out."
It seemed to me that a move-in needs to be confirmed first. If you're near by and want to weigh in, give her a call. Sorry, I didn't get the name.
(925) 788-1310 Good luck
