Does he want to try a trap-out? Trap-outs generally don't recover the queen.
In a more perfect world, a tree company would use a cherry picker to attach to the section with the bees,
then that section would be cut away from the tree and lowered to the ground.
If you just "drop" the tree (in the usual lumberjack fashion) the comb will be broken into little bits and most of the bees killed.
This is a tricky one.
