Please read the following notice, even if you've been a swarm list member for years

>>  the Subject Line of a Swarm-Announcement includes the city.
Jt often includes the neighborhood.  It will never include the actual address
    UNLESS it's a Cut-Out.

>>  INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS In the text so everyone can see it.
By default, Reply is reply to the LIST, not to the individual, when you're not using your own email client.
The volunteers can't afford the time to dig your email-address out of the Headers.
Include it or  risk  not  having your claim acknowledged.

>>  If a picture WASN'T  included, There Isn't one (that's useful), probably.
Please don't waste everyone's bandwidth asking for something that   can't/won't   be provided.

>>  All Contact-Info is provided with the announcement of a Cut-Out or extraction.
    It's a One-and-done notification.
DON'T claim cutouts.  Anyone (with the training, insurance, skills, licenses)
can contact the caller directly to offer their bid for the job.

>>  Please be receptive to requests to tag-along to learn about swarm collecting.
It's your swarm, though.  You are in charge if you got the claim.

Pardon the bluntness here.  The point is to tamp down unnecessary traffic on this email group.
It might not matter that much now, but in about a month any unnecessary traffic will be super annoying.
Let's get into good habits now while the stakes are still low.

• Please be polite and patient, especially when things get busy.  They can get really busy for volunteers.
• In the case two or more claims come in with the same time-stamp, the volunteer will take the earliest
one as they see it on their email client screen.  Computers' clocks provide email time-stamps, and computers drift out of synchronization with respect to the National Bureau of Standards reference time.
There isn't the time to dig into headers, nor in some cases, the computer expertise to do it.
Volunteers won't be questioned on their choices.
Please don't gripe about missing out, because there will be enough swarms to go around.
Nobody has it "in for you."

History suggests 350 or more swarms this year.
Thank you.
Cheers
