Jody Clark, manager at ACWD called in to report bees coming and going from a well hatch in theNewark area behind Ardenwood Historic Park. Here is a map of the areaSuper awesome~ You have to drive through Ardenwood historical park in the back

You will need to reach out to Jody and make arrangements in the coming days to get to the well as an employee will need to take you there to get access and they get booked up for their inspection time...They do not do inspections all the time so Jody does not know when the bees arrived and they are reluctant to open the hatch to look inside until a beekeeper is present. They know there will be a cost. This could be a cool job to do!--Pamela Weimer(510) 390-6291Urban BeekeeperRetired Teacher and Coach
