It’s now an extraction. See the pictures attached of the inside of the support column.

Morning,When I got there and started setting up, the swarm started to take flight. Used the spray bottle to try deter the action. A bit of them returned.Searching through for a queen, I realized that they were able to get into the cavity of the support they were on. The owner had placed some roofing tiles on both sides and an added bricks to hold the tiles in place. I removed the bricks/tiles and smoke the cavity. More bee came piling out…still no queen. The cavity runs the height of the support beam.Noticed a few of the bee went into the Nuc (frames had swarm lure previously sprayed on them). Left the Nuc at the exit of the cavity to attack the exiting bee.Advise the owner that the bee did make it into the support, as he previously thought it was inaccessible to the bee. With his permission, I left the Nuc in place to revisit today. On Wed, Jul 3, 2024 at 3:51 PM Nha Toi via swarm-list <swarm-list [at] alamedabees.org> wrote:Info to DenrieOn Wed, Jul 3, 2024 at 2:39 PM Nha Toi <2nha.toi [at] gmail.com> wrote:If no response by 5pm, swarm goes to DenrieOn Wed, Jul 3, 2024 at 2:24 PM Nha Toi <2nha.toi [at] gmail.com> wrote:Please respond with your phone number.
