well,  I had to go to my brother-in-law's 90th birthday party yesterday, so
didn't connect with my phone again until after 7:30

In the mean time I arranged to stop by that address on the way home.
There were about a cup of bees.
I suspect they were stragglers from a big swarm, and queenless. It correlates with their hanging around for 4 days.
I clipped the two leaves they were hanging on, and brought them to our back yard.

Frankly I don't think you missed out on anything significant, but thanks for offering to stop by anyway.

Hi,

I could stop by in an hour and leave a box but couldn’t get it back tonight, only tomorrow. Do you think that could work?

Might even be queenless, but maybe not.
