I collected one like this recently. I thought it would be simple and they would just walk into the box, but they were so tangled up in the grass I had to gently vac them up. Fortunately I did see the queen walk in prior to assisting the rest of the bees. I also assumed it would have been a dud queen or a queenless swarm given that they were on the ground, but they are doing quite well.
