You need to inspect the mother hives in two or three days to see if any queen cells
have hatched out.  As soon as you see that a queen hatched out, you
should uncap all the mature queens you can find and destroy ALL the other
immature queen cells and larva.
Then the hive decides on which queen will take over and it won't produce an "after-swarm."

Don't destroy any queen cells until you see that at least one queen has emerged!
