The homeowner called me directly but I'm working. They told me they are deep in a tangle of ivy and Jasmine. I guess I removed a swarm for them last year and they were fine with me doing a few snips. I don't know if the same is true for the Jasmine but be prepared for it to be a little messy.

"If you claim a swarm be sure you can leave immediately to get them. Call the person who reported it to let them know you are on your way. If you can’t go right away, someone else is a better choice to get those bees because swarms can move on.

Collecting a swarm is two parts. Get them in the box, then go back after dark to pick it up. Before making a claim, be sure you are available to return"
