Hi all,
I hope this email serves to make the problem better rather than worse.
Itself it's an off-topic submission that isn't actually swarm business,
which is what this email group is for.
We're excited about the sudden uptick in swarm announcements, and anxious to replace our dead-outs. When haste prompts us to respond to the first mail in a thread, the announcement, rather than taking an extra few seconds to see if the thread ended with a swarm placement possibly hours ago, dead threads get reactivated.
Eleven swarm announcements today should translate to about 33 emails, not 56.
The long threads really stick out.
Please take a few extra seconds to follow threads to the end before responding.
Please avoid reply-all when person-to-person emails get the job done.
Please try to limit traffic to the business of connecting swarm calls with members especially during prime swarm times.
This graph of time-of-day vs swarm-hotline call rate may help.

We're about 20% of the way through the season.
The next few weeks will be pretty crazy with email traffic if we do our best.
Let's continue to try to do our best to keep it sane.
Thanks
Thanks to everyone who has been able to respond with swarm relocation.
Cheers
