If you don't do what Paula says, you may find ALL your posts subjected to moderation for a period of time determined by my cat (who loves walking on my keyboard.)

That’s way too much for me. 😀If Castro Valley(Crow Canyon Road) isn’t too far, you are welcome to come get a nuc. Not charging for them. Just want them to go to a good home.If you want them, please contact me directly.ChristieOn Mar 31, 2024, at 9:24 PM, winshams--- via swarm-list <swarm-list [at] alamedabees.org> wrote:I'm going to ditto everything Susan said, same situation here, Berkeley. I’m experienced at catching swarms but can’t get my finger on the buzzer quick enough to claim one. If you’re claiming a swarm not because you want the bees, please think of me.
I’ve got a pickup truck with shell; orchard ladder; long loppers. I’ve got a bait hive ready that can be converted in ten minutes.
I’m happy to take over and/or assist if I don’t have a meeting or appointment. And/or I can be the person who goes back at dusk. Also happy to spend an afternoon helping with your bees in return.
I’m in El Cerrito, so local is best—North Oakland, Berkeley, Kensington, EC or Richmond.
Thanks in advance!
