Apologies for the swarm list test messages

Hi folks! First of all, please accept my apologies for the flood of test messages and replies on the swarm list. I've temporarily enabled human review of every list message to stop this (and discarded many more test message replies before they reached anyone); there shouldn't be any more.

With that out of the way, I've created a page on the club website that covers everything people have asked about. The page explains how to subscribe and unsubscribe, how to filter the messages in Gmail if it's not doing it automatically, and how to view the archives on a web page.

If you have any trouble that isn't covered there, feel free to send me an email at webmaster [at] alamedabees.org and I'll help. (No need to reply to the entire list! 😉)

Thanks! Going forward, the swarm list email will be much more reliable, with no more randomly deleted or delayed swarm list messages courtesy of Google Groups. The reality is that the swarm list is useless if all messages aren't delivered promptly, and despite a lot of effort over the last two years, it turns out Google Groups can't guarantee that.
